About High Desert UMC
High Desert United Methodist Church is a community church, welcoming members in south-central Rio Rancho and Albuquerque’s Westside. A congregation of about 225 members, we’re small enough that visitors feel at home quickly and often say they feel like they’ve “found a home”. We work at sharing our faith in our community and providing outreach and ministry to the area around us.
The mission of the High Desert United Methodist Church shall be: To “make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world” through our own Christ-driven humble service to our local community.
Food Pantry
The food pantry relies on donations from charitable Rio Ranchoans to help feed the hungry of our city… whether it be for one month, or several.

Youth Group
Open to all area youth, 6th through 12th grades! Many youth attend who aren’t members of the congregation and together, we share food, fun, activities and outreach!
