Hearing Inloop System
High Desert UMC installed a Telecoil hearing aid loop under the carpet in the outer aisles, center aisle and across the front and back aisles. The purpose of this system is to enhance the worship experience of those who wear hearing aids.
The telecoil, a small wire coiled around a rod located inside your hearing aids, works as an antenna to pick up magnetic signals and streams them as sound into your hearing aid. With this “T-setting,” your hearing aid can stream the sound of the speaker’s voice or the music directly into your ears from the microphones – without any pesky background noises.
Contact your hearing aid specialist to help determine if you have the telecoil function, and if so, to add this setting to your settings.
